Virtually my entire professional career has been spent in the courtroom. As a senior prosecutor, I've prosecuted serious felonies like drug trafficking, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and murder. For my last 5 years as a prosecutor, I prosecuted almost exclusively DUI and drunk driving offenses, but also other misdemeanors like shoplifting, thefts, and marijuana offenses. Now, as a DUI defense attorney, I use everything I learned as a prosecutor - such as how the government investigates, prepares, and presents its case against you and how to spot and exploit its weaknesses - to successfully fight for and achieve outstanding results for thousands of clients since 2013.
The backbone of my practice is defending people charged with DUI or drunk driving. DUI is a highly technical crime that requires the arresting officer to have highly specialized training and experience to properly recognize, investigate and ultimately testify about why they arrested you. And because a DUI conviction carries significant penalties, including the possibility of jail, high fines, and license suspensions - not to mention mandatory classes, increased insurance rates, and possible job consequences - you need a skilled, aggressive attorney with the same specialized training and the experience to use it to have your best chance of a favorable outcome.
